James and I have known each other for over 25 years. We know each others art and at the same time we are both very different people and very different artists. A few years ago we began collaborating for the first time. Initially it was a way to spend time and blow off some steam making really quick and unplanned experiments. Over the years it's become a form of non-verbal communication between us. I would go as far as to say our collaborative works, in many ways, are much clearer and expressive than our verbal conversations. It's how we talk to each other.
